The mission of Khepera and Associates, a grassroots networking organization is to aide in the development, implementation and dissemination of information and knowledge regarding the African experience to promote, encourage and assist in the improvement  of the social and economic conditions of African people. Learning is primarily visual, therefore we utilize a visual medium, i.e. slides, flip charts, posters, video as well as the performing arts, i.e. dance, music, song, poetry and language. As a result,  participants find themselves actively involved in our presentations.

Khepera & Associates is constantly working to increase public awareness of the negative images that African people are bombarded with daily through music, television, movies, sports, entertainment and advertisement, all which promote individualism, materialism, sexism and devaluation of life.

We focus on the myriad of cultural, political and socio-economic issues that adversely affect the local populaces through education and informational materials.

We have extensive experience as educators, trainers, group facilitators, program designers, counselors and advocates, providing services to youth and adults, public/private schools, parent groups, colleges, hospitals, social service agencies, churches, businesses, nonprofit organizations and fraternal organizations.
